The chalets were impeccably clean and had all the kitchen amenities we needed. The pool and braai area provided a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the beautiful sunsets. The location was peaceful and we loved hearing the various animal calls, especially the hippos at night. Having a parking space right next to our chalet and being within walking distance to restaurants and shops was very convenient. it was a fantastic stay and we would definitely return if we're ever in the area. Thank you to Shelley and the rest of the staff for making our experience so enjoyable.

Wow, the room at Sunset Lodge was so cozy and comfortable! I loved the seating area with the comfy sofa and the fully equipped kitchen was perfect for making meals. The flat-screen TV with satellite channels was a great way to relax in the evenings. It felt like a home away from home!
Personally, I found the kitchenware a bit lacking, but that's just me.

We had an amazing time at this hotel. The owner, Richard, was helpful and provided us with lots of information upon our arrival. He even gave us snorkel sets and a beach umbrella for free. The room was clean and tidy, and the cleaning staff did a great job every day. The pool area was fantastic and had a fire place where we could spot hippos in the backyard at night. The location of the hotel was fine, with beautiful views and a calm atmosphere. The staff, including the security guard, were friendly and cute. we had a great experience.
Nothing for me.

The location of the lodge is quiet and central, making it easy to explore the surrounding area. the friendly and efficient staff are always ready to assist guests with any requests. the well, maintained property and well, equipped self, catering rooms provide a comfortable stay.
Some improvements are needed in the bathroom layout, as the bath height and shower position could be more user, friendly.

I had a blast at the lodge, swimming in the pool, chilling in the garden, and enjoying the free WiFi. The nearby beach, boat trips, and crocodile center were a hoot too. Such a great location!
Bathtub and kitchen in need of a makeover, but who needs a fancy bathroom when you're surrounded by hippos and monkeys?

Our stay at Sunset Lodge was simply perfect. The owner, Shelly, made us feel right at home and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time. She provided us with beach equipment and gave us valuable tips and information about the area. The bungalows were absolutely lovely and had everything we needed. The setting overlooking the estuary was breathtaking, especially during sunset. The peacefulness of the location, combined with the friendly staff and cozy outdoor fire pit, created a wonderful atmosphere. Despite WiFi issues in the town, Shelly was dedicated to getting it fixed. We highly recommend Sunset Lodge for a memorable stay.
Would highly recommend this hotel.

The chalet was super clean, well equipped, and set in beautifully landscaped gardens. The location was perfect for accessing the Isimangoliso Wetlands, and the pool area overlooking the estuary provided fine sunset views. The staff, especially Shelley, were warm and friendly, always available to help with bookings and recommendations. We felt safe and enjoyed the calm atmosphere. A wonderful stay.
The breakfast menu could be improved by adding more options.
